The Natural Mineral Water, aided or not by complementary techniques, helps in the prevention, rehabilitation, therapy and well-being. There are several techniques used in the Balneário Pedagógico de Vidago, namely:
Internal administration techniques, in which the effects are dependent on the physicochemical composition of natural mineral water, are specifically used. Examples: ingestion of water or hydropinia, injection of natural mineral water, administration by the colorectal route.
Techniques of external administration, in which, in addition to the specific physical-chemical properties of each natural mineral water, hydromechanical and hydrothermal factors common to all hydrotherapy are also used. These include: baths, showers, steams, contrast applications, shower massage, breathing techniques, etc.
